Established is 2004, Aquahunters LLC is a Hawaii grown and Hawaiian owned fishing company and brand.
Over the course of 15 years we have developed many branches of our company. We are proudly known for our work in building a statewide kayak fishing community where we worked hand in hand with Hawaii’s top kayak fisherman. Our 9 season Makahiki tournament brought Hawaii to the forefront of big game kayak fishing. We opened a window to the world and put our big game expertise on display. It was a legendry run of championship level fishing. This would forever define Aquahunters and Hawaii’s place in the sport.
We continue to inspire, educate, and entertain. Aquahunters has grown into a favorite brand of fishermen. We believe it is because it is easy to see our connection to our past. The Lawai'a had an important role as a provider. When you are a core essential to the survival of your people there is little needed to explain. Respect is always given to a Lawai'a for his mastery of the art of fishing.
The Hawaiian culture is the foundation Aquahunters believes, respects, and represents.
Aloha is core to us and striving to live that way is the goal. Growing up in Hawaii we were taught some simple
but important things about the ocean and it’s resources as responsible natives of the land. That is to respect, protect, share, love, be humble, don’t waste, and always take care of the land, the sea, and one another.
This is the mindset that keeps us grounded and on goal. We pass our manao to the youth, the keiki are our future and we will always honor our past. Aquahunters will forever perpetuate the Hawaiian culture, our islands, and our people through our love for fishing. Live with Aloha.
